16 Ways To Move Away From Pain And Into Freedom

I’ve never had an allergy. I could eat anything, go anywhere, I didn’t need to avoid or be careful that something would attack my body in any debilitating way. That is until the end of 2010, when I headed to the bathroom mirror because I woke up due to a strange feeling on my face. As I looked into the mirror, I discovered a dreadful reflection looking back at me.

Yep, a distorted face from an allergic reaction looked back at me from the mirror. It took me six months to completely figure out, resolve and heal my face; four of these months were painful and very debilitating.

Looking for solutions was not an easy task. It was an exploration process. I wasn’t sure who could help or what kind of practitioner I should even be looking for. I started with a conventional doctor that didn’t help much and then I worked for about five months to find my beloved holistic doctor who helped me discover what I was allergic to, such things as tomatoes, peppers, cats (and I have 2 sweet cats), and different fabrics. There were probably a few other things that we were not aware of because it seems that every day something else would trigger the allergic reaction of hives, a swollen face, especially around my eyes, and a burning sensation on my face and chest.

The discovery process was an important piece, yet I still couldn’t show my face in public. I still didn’t feel safe to dine out and I had to avoid being close with my cats. Thank God, I had such a wonderful and supportive husband who stayed with me throughout this period (as I was not the same attractive person that he met…)

The Pain, Ache Or Discomfort Is Here
To Show You The Way,
It’s Up To You Whether You’ll
Take A Look At The Map Or…Not.

I tell you, this allergy was showing me something big that I needed to see and not only see but also get on a deeper level so I could move from a place of suffering and pain, and away from managing my symptoms to a place of freedom to be, do, and eat *whatever I wanted (*eating healthy I believe was supporting me).

After this experience I made a decision that I didn’t want to live my life in suffering, I wanted to live my life in joy. And it seems that only after I had gone through hell with this allergy, I was able to come back on the other side feeling strong and determined to REALLY not let anything take my joy away.

I would not let people or relationships which were not supportive into my life. Also, I would not let financial matters or health challenges, or anything else bother me. I would find a way that would give me joy today! I discovered that it is a matter of where one places their focus.

Your Suffering Or Joy,
Your Pain Or Freedom,
It Is Where You Put Your Focus.

(I know it’s easier said than done,
just stick around and allow things to shift)

The year that I liberated myself from the allergy (2011), was the year that my practice took a whole different direction. Since 1998, I’ve being helping people get out of their own way. I’ve helped singles get married, I’ve helped home based business owners develop habits of success, I’ve helped people with migraines, frozen shoulders, and I’ve even helped people embark on new careers. I got to work with so many types of issues, and I learned so much as well as made a difference in the lives of so many people.

The Truth That Hides Behind
Your Symptoms Can Set You Free.

When I look back at my journey that caused my allergic reaction, I can clearly see what took me down and made me sick. And when I embraced the mind-set and orientation to life of “NEVER AGAIN, meaning I will never allow anything to take me down, I knew that there was one thing I needed to do in order to make sure I was living my new orientation to life.

That one thing was and is having a greater awareness about what strengthens me and what weakens me so I can deal with anything and live in joy – TODAY!

I was pretty good with many of the areas listed below that I’ll be sharing with you. However, there were a few areas that I did not pay attention to and they came out and bit me in a form of an allergy which caused me pain both financially and socially.

If I had a high score in all of the items below, I am certain that I could have prevented the allergy from even taking place. The good news is that even though you may be currently suffering from a physical or emotional pain, ache or discomfort, I believe that it is reversible, even if some professionals have told you otherwise. I’ve seen it over and over again.

So here are the 16 aspects that I found crucial to our physical and emotional health and well-being:

1.  Have a great night’s sleep.
2.  Eat foods that support your well being.
3.  Exercise regularly.
4.  Reduce toxic exposure and detoxify.
5.  Spend time in nature or outside of your home.
6.  Clear subconscious blocks.
7.  Condition yourself to positive thinking.
8.  Maintain a clean aura.
9.  Clarify what you want.
10. Free yourself from negative relationships.
11.  Visualize consistently what you want.
12.  Meditate.
13.  Drink filtered/purified water and drink enough.
14.  Live in Gratitude.
15.  Pray.
16. Incorporate energy healing and energy rituals.

In the next coming weeks, I’ll address each and every one of these areas separately in my articles. I’ll give practical suggestions that you can easily implement, that way you’ll get stronger. You’ll know what your weak points are and you’ll have a way to strengthen those areas. 16 Ways To Move Away From Pain And Into Freedom — 6 Comments

  1. Thank you for your comment Matt.
I believe it is one step at a time. It’s moving away from greed and power and operate from honesty, connection, kindness and love. There is p[lenty of the planet for everyone but we were raised to believe there isn’t. We do the best we can in our own world and those of us who are called to do more can impact. There is chaos whenever it’s time for change.

    Keep your spirit high.
    Much love, Sigal.

  2. Stress leads to so many awful illnesses and sicknesses. If life was a simple existance we would have such a peaceful way of life. Our planet is out of control and no one seems to know how to stop it.

  3. Hi Mia,

I agree with you about meditation.

In my work with clients I have seen people in different stages of their healing process. Some are sleeping very poorly, so for them meditation is not the top priority, as they really must get their sleep in shape first. So I believe that every person will have a different priority list if they’ll take the list of the 16 ways and try to prioritize it.

I’m like you, feel that a daily walk would do miracles, but some people are not able to go for a walk because of pain, so just going to the park would be great for them. I included the walk in number 5. Spend time in nature or outside of your home.

You are welcome to check it out, let me know how you like it.

    🙂
    Infinite Blessings,
    Sigal.

  4. Some of them are great ways to move in to Freedom, specially #1, #4 and #12. In my opinion meditation play a major role as well as prayer and all of us should meditate on daily purpose.
A few days back, I read about a research in which Scientist discovered that 30 mins of daily walk can bring you Stress-free Mind and Internal Happiness. I think you should add that one too.

    Mia

  5. Thanks for the tips. It is very important to reduce stress, as it affects our health in different ways. As you've mentioned, positive thinking and avoidance of negative relationships, are the best solutions that will keep you away from stress.

  6. Hi Sigal,

What an inspiring story! You look so pretty in your picture. So to know that you healed from a face-altering allergy is amazing.

I've personally had challenges with a few of the things you've mentioned. I know exactly how it feels to suddenly have a reaction to something without knowing what's causing the reaction. I've come a long way, but the problem still flares up at times. It's very encouraging to hear you say that somebody can heal even if a professional told them otherwise.

I've also learned of the importance of approaching health holistically. I look forward to reading more from you about all of the above, but particularly in the area of detoxifying, eating the right foods for your own body, and energy rituals.

    Thanks,

    Judy
