How To Release Limiting Beliefs That Hold You Back From Achieving Your Goals

If you have a goal or two that you have been trying to accomplish for quite some time and whatever you tried didn’t really get you there you are probably ready, I mean really ready to achieve it.

The confident I have in claiming that is because you are in fact reading these lines right now. It means that you are attracting to yourself information and most likely actively seeking on the web for the tools that will help you, FINALLY, accomplished that goal.

If you would be either desperate or eager to reach the other side of the fence, you would be somewhere else at this very moment. So I’m glad you are visiting here because this blog-post is one of those door openers that can lead you to a world of more joy than suffering.

What Is Your Goal?
Is it a financial goal? a relationship goal? a health or fitness goal?
Where are you EMOTIONALLY
right now in relation to your goal? 

Let’s take a few examples and see which one speaks to you most (maybe a few of them do):
Example 1 – Financial Related goal:
To have a lucrative monthly income with a great sense of money flowing more in so you can enjoy easily paying for the life style you have chosen to live.
The reality is:
There is a lot of uncertainty about money. Since you left that “secured” job you do have more free time, but between gigs/projects you are scraping by. You have taken action to promote yourself, educated yourself (with seminar, trainings and books etc.) but you do not experience any shift, no results are showing up in your life.
You feel pretty frustrated/worried/stuck (you name it).

Example 2 – Weight Related goal:
To enjoy an ideal weight of __lb/kg. To look in the mirror and just love the person who is looking back at you. To feel great in your cloths and especially in a bathing suit.

The reality is:
You have tried many diets and different types of exercises. You find that you are good for a while but then something throws you off, whether it’s the cravings that kicks in or the lack of motivation to exercise. You gain back what you released with hard work and it’s just darn so difficult to keep a momentum going and every time to start all over again only to end up at the same spot.
You feel, helpless/unmotivated/weak.

Example 3 – Health Related goal:
To enjoy perfect health, vitality and flexibility in your body, mind and spirit. To feel that you can go wherever you wish to because you just feel so alive and vibrate in your healthy body.
The reality is:
You have this pain that comes and goes. You went to the doctor, you ran tests, you took some pain relief medication. The pain doesn’t leave you. The doctors can’t find anything and they say “it’s probably stress”. You are confused/don’t know where to turn/realizing you’ll have to leave with the pain.
You feel desperate/doomed to suffer/powerless.

Example 4 – Relationship Related goal:
To enjoy a loving intimate relationship with someone who is both a good friend and a great lover.
The reality is:
You have been trying to put yourself out there and date other people. You dislike the whole online dating idea, but where else can you meet other people once you are out of college. Even when you are finally going on a date it sucks. You have nothing in common with the person who sits across the table, you don’t even like the way they look.
You feel depressed/anxious/hopeless.

Did you find yourself relating to one of the above?

Whether you did or not, here are
3 steps that will help you get more clarity of where you are at the moment.

Write Down (in the same format I shared above):
1. Your goal.
2. Your current reality.
3. How you feel about what’s going on.

So as you see, there is a gap between what you want and what is, between your goal and the current reality. You are living most of your time in this gap. Trying to accomplish your goal but facing the reality that repeats itself. You may have already made the conclusion – that no matter how much action you take towards your goal you will not accomplish it. And even if you really really push yourself (which may cause you to pay in different ways) no one guarantees that you’ll stay there once you have arrived.

To my mind, there is only one place to turn to. And it’s into your subconscious mind. Let me use this metaphor first, so this point will become crystal clear for you. 

What is in the GAP between where you are and where you want to be??? In order for you to shrink the gap between where you are to where you want to be, you need to find out what is actually causing the gap. So if you would to imagine that you are standing on the first floor in a building and your goal is to get to the second floor, you will naturally look for the staircase or an elevator that would take you to the second floor and then you would simply either climb up the stairs or get into the elevator and push the button to the second floor. It’s easy, you know exactly what to do in this case.

When you are looking at your goal and your current reality, there is no definite, apparent staircase or an elevator, it’s as if you are standing on the first floor, KNOWING there IS a second floor but have no clue how to get to the second floor, yet some part in you know that there is away.

WHAT ARE LIMITING BELIEFS?
Limiting beliefs are none-supportive thoughts that we thought over and over and over again and became “the truth” for us.

These thoughts became a part of who we are and became engraved deeply into our subconscious mind. In a way, unless we actively do something to separate them from ourselves and release them, they can continue being a part of who we are for as long as you live.

So what is there, in the gap between
point A – where you are, to
point B – your goal, where you wish to be?

It is simply your limiting beliefs. Limiting beliefs are the thought and feeling patterns that keep the distance between point A to point B – the same. Limiting beliefs keep the tension, limiting beliefs keep it the same and therefore keep the outcome the same.

NO MATTER HOW MUCH ACTION YOU TAKE, AS LONG AS YOUR LIMITING BELIEFS ARE IN YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS MIND, YOU WILL ALWAYS MANIFEST THE RESULTS THAT CORRELATES TO THOSE LIMITING BELIEFS !!!

So for example, if your goal is a financial goal and you have a subconscious limiting belief that you are not aware of, like: “in order to be safe, I must be poor” or, “having money will only attract more hard work”. These are not thought that you are thinking of a conscious level, these thoughts are buried deep on the subconscious level. And so each time you dig deep and pull out one (or more) of these limiting beliefs out to the surface, you have the opportunity to free yourself from your limiting beliefs and by that shrinking the gap between where you are to where you wish to be. Then, and ONLY then, the actions that you will take in your daily life will yield better results.

WHERE DO LIMITING BELIEFS COME FROM?

They come from our distant and not so distant past. We make conclusions all day long and then we store the conclusions in the subconscious folders of our brains. Limiting beliefs come from the time we grew up (even at times when we were adults), they come from our past lives, they travel within our DNA as inheritance from our ancestors.

I want to share with you three tool to release those limiting beliefs so you can STOP CIRCLING and getting to the same place each time, as I said in the beginning of this blog-post, if you are reading this you must be ready to release them.


The first tool is free and you can do it by yourself. In order for this tool to work for you, you need to be consistent and be a self motivator. This tool work for some very well and for other not so much, the reason it doesn’t work for some very well is because, they have lots of digging and pulling to do, they may carry many limiting beliefs so they need to be very thorough. They also, not using this tool correctly and like other things they start but don’t finish, they get distracted. The tool is called affirmation and in particularly the Success-Shift™ Affirmations You can learn how to use affirmations correctly by visiting here. Also, I'd love to share with you on this short video how the mind works and processes affirmations.

The second tool is a low cost tool and is VERY effective. You would also need to be consistent but you do not have to use it every day (like the Success-Shift™ Affirmations), you can use it as often as you wish, all depends on the pace you want to move in. This is a guided visualization called “Pulling Out Limiting Beliefs", it comes with a working sheet that shows you how to identify what your limiting beliefs are (you will pull out 3 limiting beliefs at a time each time you listen). This tool is easier because I am right there with you. I am leading you and guiding you with my voice to what to do, so it is more likely that you would stick with it and get results. I loved creating this active visualization and I love using it myself, each time I am not getting certain results I am expecting to get. You can incorporate this tool with the Success-Shift™ Affirmations.

The third tools is going to cost you as much as you wish to invest, all depends on your financial status and the speed you wish to move at. Find a practitioner that knows how to extract limiting beliefs from the subconscious mind. For example, when I work with one-on-on clients (over the phone, skype or in-person) I have a process that I’m following that allows me to identify very quickly where is this person having blocks that prevent them from achieving what the want.

Among all the modalities I’m incorporating in my work, I always like to start with the Forensic Healing protocol that gives me this quick access to the subconscious mind. With presenting specific questions to the subconscious mind that are relevant to the person’s path, and with muscle testing (kinesiology), I gather the hidden pieces of the puzzle and the person can now see/realize what was blocking them, what was sleeping inside of them.
